P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval With Evanescence

Watch P.O.D.’s Sonny Sandoval Join Evanescence Onstage For “Bring Me To Life”

Sonny Sandoval, vocalist of multi-platinum Christian rap metal outfit P.O.D., joined Evanescence onstage in Spokane, WA this past Tuesday, September 13th. Sandoval took part in a live performance of the gothic alternative metal band’s 3x multi-platinum hit single “Bring Me To Life“. He of course took on the parts originally done by 12 StonesPaul McCoy.

Fan-filmed footage of that has been shared online below along with some thoughts from Sandoval himself. P.O.D. are currently out alongside Dana Dentata as the openers on the final leg of Korn and Evanescence‘s summer co-headlining tour. The below dates remain for that run:

09/15 Auburn, WA – White River Amp
09/16 Ridgefield, WA – RV Inn Style Resorts Amp

In other P.O.D. news, the group have just released a re-mixed & remastered version of the title track to their 2008 album “When Angels & Serpents Dance“. The band updated that entire album with a new mix and mastering job and will have that version out on October 14th through Mascot Label Group.

In addition to the original track listing, the outing will feature the bonus tracks “Don’t Fake It“, “Ridin’ With You” and “Walk On Water“. Pre-orders can be found here.
