In celebration of the 25th anniversary of influential hardcore outfit Snapcase‘s 1997 sophomore album “Progression Through Unlearning“, Craft Recordings will be reissuing the album on colored vinyl. Three different color options are available and are exclusive to different retailers. Pre-orders for that November 18th release are available now at this location.
In other news, the group will be performing at the Rec Room in their hometown of Buffalo, NY on November 04th in celebration of their new book ‘Optic‘.
According for an official press release, ‘Optic is ‘a 144-page visual history of the band’s earliest moments all the way through to their not-so-final show in January 2005. In addition to hundreds of images, ‘Optic‘ will feature insight from friends and colleagues throughout the hardcore scene that tell stories from the road, the studio and of the band’s widespread impact. Full details on the book will be announced closer to the early-November release date and show in Buffalo.’
Support at the aforementioned show will come from Against All Hope, Cinderblock, Exhibition, Spaced & Smash ‘N Grab.
