This past Thursday, September 08th saw heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne take to the stage at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. He was booked as the halftime performer when the Los Angeles Rams hosted the Buffalo Bills. However, if you were watching live from home, there’s a good chance you only saw about 10 seconds of his performance before the broadcast switched the analysts discussing the game.
For this second time back onstage this year, the 73-year-old Prince of Darkness played a medley of the title track to his newly released album “Patient Number 9” and his 80s hit “Crazy Train“. Joining him onstage for that were producer/musician Andrew Watt on guitar, Chris Chaney on bass and Tommy Clufetos on drums. Ozzy‘s long-time running buddy Zakk Wylde also took part during “Crazy Train“.
In light of the extremely limited airtime, Osbourne has since uploaded the full official video of his time onstage that night. As with surprise August live return, Osbourne was once again aided by a back bracket as he continues to suffer from mobility issues.
He is recovering from the multiple surgeries he has undergone to correct complications he suffered in a fall several years back. Said fall disrupted surgically inserted steel rods which were implanted after an early 2000s ATV accident.
