Pierce The Veil have returned with a lyric video for their brand new single, “Pass The Nirvana“. It’s the first new music to emerge from the post-hardcore outfit since 2016, as well as the 2017 departure of their drummer Mike Fuentes. The latter originally stepped down from the band amid troubling allegations.
A lyric video for this new song can be found below. Vocalist/guitarist, etc. Vic Fuentes commented of the lyrical inspiration for it:
“‘Pass The Nirvana‘ is about the many horrible traumas that the youth of America have endured over the past few years. COVID, no proms, no graduations, an insurrection, school shootings. The list goes on. Their lives have been tossed around like clothes in a dryer, as the tensions within our country have infiltrated our own homes, friends, and families. To me, the song represents a euphoric detachment from all of that anxiety and stress and about finding some form of peace or nirvana.”
The outfit will be direct support to I Prevail this fall on a two-leg North American tour that will run as follows.
