Legendary rap/funk/hardcore, etc. outfit the Beastie Boys will make the jump to action figure form in early September. The multi-platinum trio have teamed up with Super7 for inclusion in the latter’s 3.75″ ReAction figure line.
For this initial entry, the trailblazing outfit opted to immortalize the characters they played in the official music video for “Sabotage“. That Spike Jonze-directed video served as the lead single for the pioneering group’s 1994 album, “Ill Communication“, helping propel it to 3x multi-platinum status.
You can find MCA as Cochese, Ad-Rock as Vic Colfari as Bobby, “The Rookie” and Mike D as Alasondro Alegré as “The Chief“. Pre-orders for the figures, both individually and as a set, can be found via Super7.com.
For now, you can relive the “Sabotage” music video in all its splendor and glory below.
