Sludge metal outfit Armed For Apocalypse have announced an October 07th release date for their third studio album “Ritual Violence” via Candlelight Records. A first single from it by the name of “Full Of Phlegm” has just been served up in advance and is available to stream below.
Speaking of the record, which was engineered by Converge‘s Kurt Ballou, the band stated:
“‘Ritual Violence‘ was written in a time where everything seemed to be hopeless. A lot of the songs on the album revolve around an overall theme of being stuck in an inescapable self destructive rabbit hole, and the struggle to break free of those habits.”
A pair of guests will join them on that opus, including Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser on Foredoomed and Unearth vocalist Trevor Phipps on “Suffer For A Living“. Pre-orders for the effort are available now at this location.
