Chart-topping Iowan metal institution Slipknot will be making their way to third-person multiplayer online battle arena video game ‘Smite‘. All nine of the band’s current members will be featured in the new update, which launches this month. You can see a trailer of the band in action in the free-to-play MOBA below.
It is presumed the band’s involvement in the game will be in the form of a battle pass set to launch sometime after May 17th. More details on the collaboration will be revealed today (May 11th) at twitch.tv/smitegame at 12:00pm PDT / 03:00pm EDT.
