Darkthrone’s 30th Anniversary Edition Of “A Blaze In The Northern Sky” To Feature Paper From The Year 1666 & Ink Created With Powdered Goat Horns

Norwegian black metal institution Darkthrone will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1992 sophomore album “A Blaze In The Northern Sky” with a special clear vinyl pressing this summer. Planned for a June 22nd release date on Peaceville, this new pressing will be limited to 666 hand numbered copies, each of which will feature autographs on paper sourced from a book originally printed in the year 1666.

In addition to that, the custom silver ink used for the album features the inclusion of powdered goat horns. Audio wise, the pressing will sport a ‘refresh’ of the album’s original mastering.
