Deafheaven’s George Clarke Involved In New Project Alto Arc, “Bordello” Video Available

Deafheaven vocalist George Clarke is part of an ecletic new project dubbed Alto Arc, which finds him teaming with co-vocalist Isamaya Ffrench. That endeavor originally began in 2020 under the guidance of the then duo of Danny L Harle (Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX) and Traver Tryon of Hundred Waters.

Sargent House have this collective’s self-titled debut EP scheduled for a February 11th release date. Ahead of that you can watch Clarke endure the hot seat in the below video for the track “Bordello“.

Elizaveta Porodina directed that video and had the following to say about it:

“I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this video. Telling this story felt like opening an old book and uncovering a sinister fairy tale. An eerie vibrating presence fell over the rooms we built up, and it felt like oscillating from one dark world to another. It’s a privilege to witness such rare and magical moments.”

Clarke himself commented of the experience:

“Working with Elizaveta to see her vision through was wonderful and I couldn’t be happier with how beautifully this song was interpreted and captured.”
