AC/DC‘s platinum-certified lead single “Thunderstruck” from their 5x multi-platinum 1990 album “The Razors Edge” has just notched itself up another accolade. The official music video upload of that track on YouTube, which was first shared on the service back in November of 2012, has officially surpassed 1 billion views on the video sharing service.
Few other hard rock and metal music videos have managed to breach that milestone, with Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters“, Guns N’ Roses‘ “Sweet Child O’ Mine“, Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit“, System Of A Down‘s “Chop Suey!” and Linkin Park‘s “In The End” and “Numb” among them.
