The Foo Fighters have thrown their hat into this year’s ‘Black Friday‘ ‘Record Store Day‘ event, which this year will be held on November 26th. The group will be putting out a 7″ single featuring alternate takes on their tracks “Making A Fire” and “Chasing Birds“.
In addition to Mark Ronson‘s previously released ‘re-version’ of “Making A Fire“, which features contributions from members of the Dap-Kings, The Budos Band, Antibalas and more, an alternate re-version of “Chasing Birds” will also be featured. It sports contributions from Ben Jaffe, Charlie Gabriel, Clint Maedgen, Walter Harris, Branden Lewis and Ronnell Johnson, appearing as the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
