See Metallica Team With Miley Cyrus On “Nothing Else Matters” For ‘The Howard Stern Show’


Footage of Metallica‘s appearance yesterday (September 09th) on ‘The Howard Stern Show‘ has newly been released online. In addition to looking back on their career and celebrating their 1991 16x multi-platinum self-titled album (aka “The Black Album“), they also performed “Nothing Else Matters” live with Miley Cyrus, and ran through “Sad But True” on their own. You can dig through that footage below.

Today, September 10th saw the release of Metallica‘s deluxe box set of “The Black Album” along with a an accompanying tribute album dubbed “The Metallica Blacklist“. The latter finds Cyrus covering “Nothing Else Matters” with Elton John, Andrew Watt, Yo-Yo Ma, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Metallica‘s own bassist Robert Trujillo.
