Korn Guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer To Miss Immediate Shows After Positive COVID-19 Diagnosis


Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be sitting out the band’s immediate live shows. A statement issued on the matter by the band earlier today, September 09th reads:

“Unfortunately, Munky has tested positive for COVID. He is going OK, but he will not be playing some of our upcoming shows.

The tour is going on as scheduled despite these circumstances, and we are anticipating a speedy recovery.

We’ll see you tonight, Utah.”

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis previously contracted COVID-19 earlier on this very same tour and was forced to perform while partially seated as a result.
