The Ghost Inside will be releasing their July 13th, 2019 live return as “Rise From The Ashes: Live At The Shrine” on July 30th through Epitaph Records. A vinyl release will follow in January of next year. The effort will feature artwork done by Every Time I Die guitarist Jordan Buckley.
The Ghost Inside will also be celebrating the two-year anniversary of that particular live show on July 10th with an official livestream of it. Tickets for that are available now at theghostinside.com.
The show marked the band’s first live performance since their November 2015 bus crash, which claimed the lives of both drivers involved and left various members of the band with life-changing injuries.
Notably an official press release for this new live release mentions that Jim Riley is an active member of the band. Riley was fired from the group in June of 2020 after having been called out for his past usage of racial slurs. Several months later the group would go on to publicly express their regret over parting ways with Riley, with guitarist Chris Davis offering “we definitely acted hastily and definitely made the wrong call.”
The band’s current live schedule runs as follows;
08/28 Worcester, MA – The Palladium (feat. Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Currents & Great American Ghost)
09/09 Danville, VA – Blue Ridge Rock Festival
09/19 Chicago, IL – Riot Fest
06/10 Derby, UK – Download Festival
06/18 London, UK – O2 Academy Brixton (feat. Dragged Under and Our Hollow Our Home)
