New details have been unearthed regarding the sexually graphic videos that leaked last month of now former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. Those videos, which found the 56-year-old masturbating on camera, led to his recent dismissal from the legendary thrash band.
Those videos surfaced online via social media alongside anonymous allegations that he had been engaging in sexual misconduct and grooming with a female over the internet.
Ellefson would promptly deny those allegations, while also providing a statement from the woman who on the other end of those video chats. Rollingstone.com have obtained a report by the Scottsdale Police Department on the matter.
In it Ellefson admits that he had been sexting with a woman of Dutch descent who was 19-years-old at the time. In the Netherlands the age of consent is 16-years-old, while the age of consent in Ellefson‘s native Arizona is 18-years-old.
Ellefson‘s claims were verified via a polygraph and a copy of the driver’s license of the woman in question. He also shared screen shots of the conversations themselves with the authorities.
He revealed that they originally met during a signing at a 2019 show in Holland and later had coffee in a hotel in February of 2020. According to Ellefson, no physical contact nor physical sexual contact took place between them.
According to Ellefson they kept in contact over the internet with their relationship later taking a sexual turn, leading to 4 or 5 online “masturbating encounters.”
According to Ellefson 2 to 3 of those video sessions were recorded without his knowledge by the aforementioned female participant. His partner admitted to sharing some of those video chats with a few of her friends, but was not sure how they leaked out. It is also alleged in the report that the individual who leaked the videos had previously harassed other members of the band.
Ellefson has since indicated that he intends to file revenge porn charges against the individual responsible for leaking the footage.
