Avenged Sevenfold recently shared some footage from the studio via a livestream on their Instagram, with a capture of it available to revisit below. The band have slowly been putting together their follow-up to “The Stage” in recent months, though COVID-19 restrictions have made for a lengthy process.
As of last month the group had roughly 70% of the album completed thus far, though they don’t intend to release it before they can tour properly. This past December, frontman M. Shadows spoke with Kerrang! about the album, at one point stating, “…The [new] record sounds nothing like ‘The Stage‘ – it’s a completely new direction, and it sounds nothing like anything we’ve done. That’s all I’ll say about it: it’s over the top, and it’s very eclectic and wild!”
