Suspect208 Replace Noah Weiland With New Vocalist Cody Houston, Debut “Nicotine”

Suspect208 have officially welcomed Cody Houston (ex-Blueprint) as their new frontman, following an apparently brief audition process. Houston replaces Noah Weiland in the outfit, whom the band officially parted ways with last month, citing alleged ‘drug use’ issues. Noah Weiland is the son of late Stone Temple Pilots, etc. frontman Scott Weiland.

Suspect208 still feature the offspring of several prominent metal/rock musicians, including London Hudson (son of Guns N’ RosesSlash), Tye Trujllo (son of Metallica‘s Robert Trujillo) and Niko Tsangaris. The band’s first single with Hudson is the below track, “Nicotine“. Asked by Wall Of Sound how the band came to find Houston so quickly, Tsangaris replied:

Cody was the first audition that was sent in and we fell in love with his voice. It wasn’t until he then came to LA that we realized he is a super hard-working, talented, and awesome person. Musically, we connected on another level, and songs began to flow like water on the first day! We’re beyond excited to show our fans what we’ve been working on!!”

Regarding the single itself, he stated:

“We chose ‘Nicotine‘ to be our first single because it’s a high energy, raw, rock n’ roll song that expresses the energy we have in a room together! We wanted to let people in on what that feels like!”
