Marilyn Manson has now officially been dropped by his label Loma Vista Recordings in the wake of the renewed allegations of abuse made against him this morning by several women. Among those to call him out were his former fiancée, actress Evan Rachel Wood. Wood had previously spoke about being “horrifically” abused during a relationship that took place years ago, but until today, had not publicly named Marilyn Manson as her abuser. The label said in a a statement:
“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately. Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”
