Gizmachi have dropped “Look What I’ve Become” as the second single from their sophomore album, “Omega Kaleid“. That record is due out on March 12th and is set to arrive after some controversy. The album was originally crowdfunded back in 2012, but is only just now nearing a release.
It finds Soilwork, etc. frontman Björn “Speed” Strid taking on the vocal duties for the entire outing, including this single. A guest appearance from guitarist Larry Mitchell (Tracy Chapman, Billy Squier) is also featured on this particular track. The band commented:
“‘Look What I’ve Become‘ was the first song Bjorn sent back to us. As soon as the four of us heard his voice with our music, we knew this record was going to be special.”
Gizmachi originally emerged as proteges of Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan back in 2005, releasing their debut album “The Imbuing” via his Big Orange Clown Records label.
