Trapt‘s official Facebook page has been deleted by the service for violating the Facebook community standards. According to the band’s own Chris Taylor Brown, his public support of the Proud Boys was the final straw for the service, with the band’s profile, which had amassed nearly 600,000 followers, having been deleted in turn. Brown has since said he will be suing the social media giant over the matter, offering the following on Twitter:
For posting this pic and saying the same thing in the post, Facebook has completely deleted the TRAPT FB account. They said don’t use the phrase “Proud Boys.” I specifically told FB trapt fans that I could not say the name. I will be suing Facebook. Was also a post about Parler https://t.co/JAyEhIPuKf

Brown of course has a much publicized history of confrontational social media behavior which dates back several years. He has also gained a new level of infamy as of late for frequently expressing his far right-leaning political beliefs via his social media presence.
