BPMD Pay Tribute To Eddie Van Halen With Video For Their Cover Of “D.O.A.”

BPMD have paid tribute to late Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen with the below video for their cover of the Van Halen track “D.O.A.“. That cover appeared on BPMD‘s debut album, “American Made“, which saw a release this past June.

That effort saw BPMD, who feature Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (Overkill), Phil Demmel (Vio-lence/ex-Machine Head), Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater, etc.) and Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance), cover numerous American rock songs from the 1970s.

Speaking of Eddie‘s passing, BPMD commented:

“The world lost an icon, innovator, showman, virtuoso, master songwriter and perhaps one of the biggest inspirations ever to learn how to play guitar. This video is meant to be a tribute to Ed, nothing more, and we hope you enjoy. We will always have Eddie in our hearts.”
