Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith recently led a cast of famous musicians through a benefit show for victims of the Californian wildfires that ravaged the state earlier this year. That set took place at Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu, CA on February 28th and saw 100% of the proceeds donated to the American Red Cross.

Some fan-filmed highlights from the set saw Guns N’ Roses bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan and his daughter Grace stepping in for a cover of The Stooges‘ “I Wanna Be Your Dog“, while Queens Of The Stone Age vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme joining for a cover of David Bowie‘s “Let’s Dance” and INXS‘ “Don’t Change“.

Also joining Smith onstage were his Red Hot Chili Peppers bandmate Anthony Kiedis for covers of Jimi Hendrix‘s “Purple Haze” and “Ramblin’ Man” by The Allman BrothersMetallica bassist/vocalist Robert Trujillo sat in on the latter rendition. Ex-Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony also stepped up onstage for some Van Halen covers.

Controversial guitarist Brent Woods and bassist Tye Trujillo served as house musicians for much of the night. You can find the setlist, and the rest of the guests, over at setlist.fm.
