Deftones frontman Chino Moreno made a surprise appearance on Primus drummer Tim Alexander‘s ‘Herb’s Happy Hour‘ this weekend, discussing the band’s forthcoming new album, his past experiences with race-related issues and more. In the interview, he also confirmed that September still appears to be the planned release month for the band’s ninth studio album. He in part said of that:
“We have a record that we finished maybe… a few weeks… maybe a month ago, about a month ago we finally got all the final mixes of it. It’s supposed to come out in I think September.”
