Last April Ice Nine Kills found themselves banned from performing at the Disney-affiliated House Of Blues venue in Orlando, FL. It would appear that the family-oriented company took issue with the band’s lyrical content and continued obsession with horror film-related imagery.

The outfit would later return to Orlando, FL on July 25th, 2019 to perform a show at the SoundBar in the city, staging a mini-protest against Disney while they were at it. The group have now released the following mini-documentary around that incident and live performance titled ‘The Disney Revenge Show‘ below. Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas commented:

“Looking back at the Disney incident fills me with nothing but laughter. When I first heard about the ban I was perturbed strictly because we love playing in that city. But rather than mope and cry about it, I had the idea to poke fun at the situation by creating a merch line of beloved Disney characters and inserting them in slasher movie scenarios. This mini documentary chronicles our triumphant sold out return to Orlando and the chaos that ensued…”

Additionally, the band have issued this merch capsule around the documentary, recalling a line they originally launched around the initial ban. An exclusive 10″ release of Ice Nine Kills‘ “The Silver Scream: Killer Cuts” will be released on October 24th as part of ‘Record Store Day‘.
