Junius‘ self-titled debut album—a compilation of their two early EPs—has been rechristened “Vol. 1” and given a new mastering job. That version of the outing will be released as a 2xLP gatefold vinyl with revised artwork on August 21st in North America (July 24th in Europe) via Pelagic Records.
Junius‘ official first full-length studio album, 2009’s “The Martyrdom Of A Catastrophist“, will also be given the vinyl treatment on the same release dates mentioned above. It was given a new mixing job by Tom Syrowski (Mastodon, AC/DC) and mastering job by Billy Bowers (Chris Cornell, Mastodon).
Pre-orders for both are available here. Meanwhile, Junius are currently writing material for a new album with a revised lineup that finds Orion Wainer (Constants), Drew Speziale (Circle Takes The Square) and Ben Graham (Lesser Glow) having joined the fold. Bassist Joel Munguia has exited the band.
