Ozzy Osbourne Forced To Cancel Trip To Switzerland For Specialized Treatment

Ozzy Osbourne‘s planned April trip to Switzerland to receive advanced immune system treatment has been scuttled amid Coronavirus concerns. Osbourne had sought to seek the specialized treatment amid his health battles in recent years, which included pneumonia, nerve damage and lingering pain from a fall that disrupted steel rods from a previous surgical procedure, and his ongoing battle against Parkinson’s disease.

Osbourne‘s wife Sharon confirmed the news on ‘The Talk‘ earlier this week, offering:

“We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland. We were meant to go on the 8th of April, but we had to cancel, for his treatment.”

“We’re just hanging in, like everybody else, just trying to stay away and be quiet and just hold it in there. But I honestly find this such frightening times. I just think it’s a really, really frightening time to be alive. I’m not one of these people [who are], like, ‘Oh, I’m bonding with all these people,’ and, ‘This is amazing.’ I’m not that way. I cry every day when I watch the death toll go up and more and more people catch this virus and I’m just devastated by it. For me, I’m hearthbroken.”

The couple had previously stated that they sought to receive the specialized treatment in Switzerland after feeling as though they had exhausted their options with the more conventional treatments available in North America.
