The Acacia Strain‘s valiant attempt to continue touring in the wake of the restrictions put in place to curb the spread of the Coronavirus has come to an end. The group were out on the road with Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber and Fuming Mouth and faced several cancellations as a result of the situation. While they resorted to playing two shows at the same venue over the weekend to accommodate public gathering restrictions, the growing concern and city-wide bans eventually caught up to them.
The band and Chamber hope to play a few shows on their way back home to help keep them afloat for the drive. Those include:
03/15 Las Vegas, NV – American Legion Post 8 (feat. Misdirection and Dredge)
03/16 Denver, CO – Streets (feat. Chamber)
03/17 Kansas City, MO – The Rino (feat. Chamber)
The Acacia Strain vocalist Vincent Bennett commented:
Hate to say it, but we are headed home. Booking a few small shows to get there. Please come if you can. If you’re sick, stay home. Love you all. Stay safe. Vegas, Denver, maybe one more to come. pic.twitter.com/XRgjEzauum

I love and respect every single band that was on this tour. Gutted we had to cut it short; watching them live gave me life. I’ll never forget any of this. Fuming mouth, chamber, creeping death, rotting out – forever.

The full fate of the tour seems unclear with certain venues listing their affected dates as cancelled and others listing them as postponed.
