Yashira have been in the studio working on a new album as of late. The band checked in last week with the below update on their progress:
“Drums are complete.
- Advertisement -This time last year, we didn’t know if we’d ever do this again. Ryan walked into a very heavy, dark situation with a certain drive that helped mend our creative headspace. When everything fell apart, he came in and helped us rebuild. His performance on this album is a testament to not only his abilities, but also his character. Believe us, it speaks volumes.
Thank you, Ryan.”
The Ryan mentioned above is drummer Ryan O’Neal of Seraph/The Light, Autolith fame, who joined the band last year. He filled the spot left behind by their drummer Seth Howard, who passed away in a car accident in late 2018.
Recording sessions for the group’s new album have been taking place at Silver Bullet Studios with Greg Thomas of Misery Signals/End fame handling the production duties.
