High On Fire had a new drummer in place when they began their fall headlining tour last night, November 07th, at the ‘Levitation Festival‘ in Austin, TX. They played that show with Chris Maggio (Wear Your Wounds, ex-Trap Them) behind the kit. High On Fire have yet to name a permanent replacement for Des Kensel, who exited the group earlier this year.
