Lamb Of God Have Landed Their Second Gold Album In The United States


A congratulations are in order for Lamb Of God, who have added a new gold record award to their collection. The band’s 2006 album “Sacrament” was officially certified gold in the United States on September 27th, 2019.

It’s not the first plaque the band have received from the RIAA  as their 2004 record “Ashes Of The Wake” was certified gold in 2016. They’ve also scored platinum awards for their home video releases, “Walk With Me In Hell” and “Killadelphia“.

A platinum album in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit.
