Abigail Williams Debut “I Will Depart”, Ken Sorceron Says His Time In The Faceless Taught Him “How Not To Run A Band”

Abigail Williams officially have a November 15th release date set for their new album, “Walk Beyond The Dark“, via Blood Music (pre-order it here.) “I Will Depart” arrives as the first single from that album with a stream of it available below. The band are also lining up a North American tour this fall with Enisferum, Kalmah and Aenimus, dates for which remain pending.

Metal Hammer debuted the track and are also running an interview with the band’s Ken Sorceron. In addition to discussing this forthcoming album, he was also asked about his time in The Faceless. You may recall that Sorceron was one of three members to quit that group at the same time back in March of 2018.

Speaking on if his stint in that outfit impacted his songwriting on this new album, Sorceron replied:

“I quit The Faceless over a year ago now, and though it didn’t influence my song-writing at all, I definitely would say it taught me some things about how or how not to run a band.

I still value some of the time I spent with that band, and the great guys that I played with who were very talented.”
