Cold frontman Scooter Ward has since commented of the inspiration for the track:
“It evolved from me seeing people fighting on social media and on the news. People getting gaslighted daily. I had enough of all the noise from it. It’s basically a siren for the silent majority to stand up and take control back. A revolution.”

Another new single from Cold‘s forthcoming album “The Things We Can’t Stop” has made its way online. See below for a stream of “The Devil We Know” from the outing, which is slated for a September 13th release on Napalm Records. The band will soon be out on their first tour in eight years with Awake For Days and University Drive set to open. The dates for that run are as follows:
