Phil Anselmo’s En Minor Play First Live Show, Footage Available


En Minor, the new ‘depression core’ project led by Philip H. Anselmo performed their first live show last night (August 14th) at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, LA. Below you can watch fan-filmed footage of “Warm Sharp Bath Sleep” from the 16 song set being played at the show.

In addition to Anselmo, the project also features his Superjoint, etc. bandmates guitarist Stephen Taylor, guitarist Kevin Bond and drummer Jimmy Bower. Also among the band’s ranks are the brotherly duo of Calvin (keyboards) and Joiner Dover (bass) and cellist Steve Bernal.

According to Anselmo, the projects origins date back to the 1980s. They released a two-song debut single on August 02nd and intend to have their full-length debut album out later in the year. You can next catch them live at the August 16th stop of the ‘Psycho Las Vegas‘ festival in Las Vegas, NV.
