Tool’s Music Has Begun Showing Up On Streaming Services

Tool‘s music has finally begun to arrive on streaming services and it appears the band are starting out from the beginning. Their early demo “72826” recently arrived via a number of streaming services, including Apple Music, Google Play Music and YouTube, marking the first time the band’s music has legally been available digitally outside of a soundtrack.

A long-time holdout from adapting to the digital age of music consumption, the move appears to be the band’s first step in a long rumored plan to have their catalog become available digitally.

With the band’s first new album since 2006 due out on August 30th, there’s been much speculation that their discography would be making the move to streaming around the release of the new record.
