Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor fielded a few questions via social media today (March 18th) regarding the band’s decision to part ways with percussionist Chris Fehn. Fehn‘s dismissal from the group followed word that he had filed suit against the band, alleging he wasn’t getting a fair cut of the profits.
To that end , Fehn is said to have pointed the finger at Taylor and percussionist M. Shawn Crahan specifically for allegedly operating Slipknot-affiliated ventures behind his back. Fehn apparently feels that profits from those ventures should be making its way back to him as well. In turn he is seeking a full accounting of the band to establish potential damages and profits owed to him.
In a since deleted tweet made earlier today, a fan asked Taylor, if the band would ever consider bringing back former vocalist/percussionist Anders Colsefni, to which Taylor replied: “Fuck I Would LOVE that.” When a fan pointed out that Taylor‘s response was “a bit dickish”, Taylor replied:
You think that’s dickish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it.
