Lamb Of God‘s ninth full-length album is coming together with the band’s guitarist Mark Morton recently telling Full Metal Jackie in the below interview:
“We are currently working on new material that I’m thrilled about. I just had some sessions with Willie [Adler], putting together new songs. There’s a really cool energy going on with the new stuff. So Lamb Of God is full throttle. We’ve got shows coming together—I think we’ve already announced some of them for this year—and more to come. And lots of new material coming together. So, yeah, they’ll be no shortage of Lamb Of God this year, for sure.”

The news comes as Morton prepares for this tour supporting his new solo album, “Anesthetic“, which will be out on March 01st. That outing features numerous high profile guests. Meanwhile, Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe has been working on new material with his fledgling new project Over It All with members of Animals As Leaders and more.
