Keenan himself gave perhaps the most clear update on the band’s progress with the album back in early January, stating at the time that his parts were tracked months ago and that mixing was already underway. The band began the official recording sessions for the album around the spring of last year with Joe Barresi Queens Of The Stone Age, Chevelle) behind the boards.
