Danny Carey Reveals Release Month For Tool’s Long-Awaited New Album

Tool drummer Danny Carey has revealed when fans can expect to hear Tool‘s long-awaited new album. In the below video filmed at this weekend’s annual ‘NAMM‘ festival, Carey can be seen telling a fan that the record will arrive in mid-April, following it up with “that’s the plan anyway.”

The band’s frontman Maynard James Keenan stated early last month that his parts were tracked months ago and that mixing was already underway. The album will be the band’s first since 2006’s “10,000 Days” and the group once again enlisted the services of Joe Barresi Queens Of The Stone Age, Chevelle) for the sessions.
