Look for Dream Theater to release their fourteenth studio album “Distance Over Time” in February of 2019. The band have shared the below brief teaser video for it which also shows off the album’s artwork. The reveal follows an alternate reality game that took shape in an online treasure hunt for the band’s most dedicated fans.
In other news, the group have revealed the initial routing for their first tour in support of the outing. It would appear that trek won’t solely be focused on new material though, as it is being billed as ‘The Distance Over Time Tour: Celebrating 20 Years Of Scenes From A Memory“. That title would of course refer to the upcoming 20th anniversary of the band’s 1999 release, “Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory“. See below for those dates:
