You can still watch last night’s livestream of the West Coast tribute show to late Cave In, Old Man Gloom, etc. bassist/vocalist Caleb Scofield below. Like the previous East Coast show held earlier this year, the event saw Cave In joined by Caleb‘s brother Kyle and Nate Newton of Converge, Old Man Gloom, etc. fame.
The show took place at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA yesterday, October 13th. It also featured performances from 27, Old Man Gloom and Pelican as well as finding Isis reuniting for the first time in roughly eight years, appearing under the name of ‘Celestial‘. The band adopted the name of their 2000 debut album for the set given the associations their previous moniker now has. Their performance in particular starts around 02:55:20 into the below video. Songs performed included:
“Carry”
“So Did We”
“In Fiction”
“The Beginning And The End”
“Celestial (The Tower)”
All proceeds from the night will go towards the family of Scofield, who died in an automobile accident this past March. The livestream is due to start at 7:15 PM PST/10:15pm EST.
