Disturbed’s David Draiman On Ditching His Chin Jewelry: “It Just Felt Kind Of Weird Walking Around Like A 45-Year-Old Hot Topic Kid”

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has commented on his decision to abandon his chin jewelry, which included two labret talons that appeared to be attached via piercings, though there is debate that they were actually attached via the hair of a soul patch. Asked recently by Deutsche Welle what happened to them, he offered laughingly:

“They’re kind of a pain in the butt, to be honest. It just felt kind of weird walking around like a 45-year-old Hot Topic kid. I just felt it was time.”

Disturbed‘s new album “Evolution” will hit stores this coming Friday, October 19th.
