Okilly Dokilly Undergo Drastic Lineup Change, Plot UK Tour & New Album

Okilly Dokilly, the metal band inspired by ‘The Simpsons‘ character Ned Flanders, recently underwent a fairly drastic lineup change with four members stepping down. The group announced that shift as follows:

“Neighborinos! We’ve got some big news.

We spent many weeks last year traveling the stretches of North Amerca, going from city to city, leaving nothing but destruction, heavy Nedal, and an occasional faulty monorail in our wake.

Upon returning home we went on hiatus. With things like spending time with our Maudes, Rods & Todds, bothering our local Reverend, and trying to get enough cider fest visits in (it pays for itself after 16), it can be hard to find the time and Nedergy for our Nedly music.

With that, we’re announcing the departure of our phenomenally talented and highly respected musicians Bled Ned, Red Ned, Cred Ned and Dead Ned. They are Neds among men and will always be a part of the Okilly Dokilly Nedgacy.

Okilly Dokilly is not ending, but stepping into a second phase. We’re incredibly pleased to announce the new lineup of Shred Ned (guitars), Dread Ned (drums) and Zed Ned (synth) who will be joining Head Ned, our vocalist and Ned quote compiler.

We’ll be announcing some new shows very soon and are already hard at work recording our second record, currently under the working title, Howdilly Twodilly.”

In other news, the group will be touring the UK in October with the below run booked:

10/02 Nottingham, UK – Rescue Rooms
10/03 Norwich, UK – Waterfront
10/04 Exeter, UK – Lemon Grove
10/05 Bridgewater, UK – Cobblestones
10/06 Bristol, UK – Thekla
10/08 London, UK – Borderline
10/09 Sheffield, UK – Corporation
