With Avenged Sevenfold having scrapped their summer touring plans due to issues with frontman M. Shadows‘ voice, the band were forced to vacate their headlining spot on this year’s ‘Louder Than Life‘ festival. In light of that, Alice In Chains have been tapped to replace them.
In other news, both Bad Wolves and Spirit Animal have also exited the festival while Skyharbor and Anemic Royalty have joined the bill. For obvious reasons, HELLYEAH have also withdrawn from the festival as well.
This year’s edition of the annual festival will be held at Champions Park in Louisville, KY from September 28th-30th and feature Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube and many more. Here’s how it will run:
