Watch Scars On Broadway Play A New Song & Cover System Of A Down During Recent Acoustic Show

Scars On Broadway performed an acoustic set at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, CA this past Monday, July 23rd, and some fan-filmed footage of  the performance can be found below. The set featured heavily on material from the group’s 2008 self-titled debut album as well as a few tracks from “Dictator“. As a bonus, it also saw the group run through covers of System Of A Down‘s “Lonely Day” and “Lost In Hollywood” along with a new previously unreleased Scars On Broadway track apparently titled “You Destroy You“.

If memory serves correct, the band’s last official show took place back in 2012. Spearheaded by System Of A Down guitarist Daron Malakian, the outfit were originally due to release their new album “Dictator” around that time. However, the potential for using the songs ideas in a failed attempt at a new System Of A Down album saw “Dictator” get shelved.

With the band now resurrected with new musicians and “Dictator” having arrived in stores earlier this month finally hit stores, Malakian aims to get the ball rolling once again. He’s also stated in recent interviews that he has a wealth of new material for Scars On Broadway up his sleeves.
