The volatility in Motograter‘s lineup continues with official confirmation that guitarist Jesse Stamper has now officially exited the band. Stamper‘s past exit was previously said to be part of an alleged mass lineup exodus which the band themselves went on to deny.
Overnight Stamper made two posts to his social media, one of which was parting shot at his now former bandmate, Motograter guitarist Matt “Nuke” Nunes. Those posts read:
“I’m leaving motograter I don’t blame anyone but myself “cough” the truth comes out in the end….night night….”
“I would rather clock into a nine to five than clock into a nine to NUKE to nothing…. just saying….”
This latest stretch of lineup instability in the band began late last year with the firing of drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson, who went on to publicly blast Nunes for alleged drug abuse and violent behavior. This past April saw bassist Mylon Guy ejected from the band, who found out that he had been replaced by Aeon Cruz after reading about it online.
The band are currently out on tour with the following shows booked:
06/16 Algona, IA – Lifers
06/17 St. Louis, MO – Fubar
06/18 Springfield, MO – Outland Ballroom
06/21 Houston, TX – Scout Bar
