Motograter have issued a statement denying the recent report that five members of the band had walked out on the group. Yesterday, this report emerged via Numetal.net, which alleged that the band were down to guitarist/vocalist Matt “Nuke” Nunes, having shared a screen cap of a text conversation with guitarist Jesse Stamper that mentioned a mass walkout of members. The band have since denied those reports, issuing the below statement:
“Everything is fine, we just completed our headline tour. Something small got blown out of proportion in the media due to a disgruntled ex-member falsely reporting that we broke up and spreading the news to other websites. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are the strongest we’ve ever been! We have festivals coming up and then the Terror Universal co-headlining tour coming up after that. We are ready to rock!”

It is unclear if the ‘disgruntled ex-member’ mentioned above refers to Stamper or the band’s ex-drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson, who has ties to numetal.net. The latter member publicly feuded with Nunes amid making allegations of drug abuse and violent behavior after being let go.
If Stamper is out of the band, he wouldn’t be the first to leave this year as Motograter replaced their bassist Mylon Guy this past April with Aeon Cruz (who confirmed yesterday she remains a member of the band.) Guy allegedly found out he was no longer in the group by reading about it online.
