Comeback Kid have announced a new 7″ single set for a a May 04th release date via Nuclear Blast/New Damage. The effort will be limited to 500 copies and is set to include a cover of Midnight Oil‘s “Beds Are Burning” as well as the previously unreleased track “Little Soldier“, which was recorded during the sessions for 2017’s “Outsider“. Frontman Andrew Neufeld commented:
“A while back I randomly saw the video for the song ‘Beds Are Burning‘. I had heard it in passing many times before but the video intrigued me at that particular time. After finding out that it was a protest song about giving back lands to an indigenous group in Australia, it resonated with me because of the current situation our Canadian government has with its indigenous people.”
A limited number of pre-orders will soon be launched. The band will be overseas this month playing a number of the ‘Impericon Festival‘ shows and will follow it with the below Australian/New Zealand run with Silverstein:
