Killswitch Engage have been working on their new album while out on the road as part of the ‘KillThrax Tour‘ with Anthrax and more. Frontman Jesse Leach recently spoke with KFMX (see below) about their progress with it, offering:
“We’re deep into a record. Actually on the road, here, Mike, our bass player, tracks on days off. We’ve got the drums done. We’re just working as fast as we can to get it wrapped up—we’ve got about 20 songs to choose from. We’re ready to crank out a record in the next 6-7 months, hopefully, and get that thing done.”
Leach later stated that the band hope to have the album done by their European/UK tour with Iron Maiden in late May.
