Godflesh have signed on to perform their 1994 album “Selfless” live in its entirety at next year’s ‘Roadburn Festival‘. That festival is to be held April 19th-22nd at 013 in Tilburg, NET. Godflesh‘s performance will take place as part of Converge/Wear Your Wounds frontman Jacob Bannon‘s curation of the festival. As such, Bannon spoke of the impact Godflesh had on him:
“I first experienced Godflesh when I picked up the Grindcrusher compilation from Earache Records as a teenager. The otherworldly power of Streetcleaner effected me in a way that I still find hard to describe. Since then I have been an avid follower of all music that Justin creates.

Punishing heaviness, incredible hooks, and limitless emotional depth. It is a true honor that they have agreed to play this album in its entirety at Roadburn 2018.”
Other highlights from next year’s ‘Roadburn Festival‘ include Converge performing their latest album “The Dusk In Us” as well as 2004’s “You Fail Me” live in its entirety. Crowbar will be playing “Odd Feelows Rest“ in full, Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas will play “Mariner” in full, Weedeater will play “God Luck And Good Speed” in its entirety and that’s just for starters.
