Update – December 07th, 2017 – 10:56am:
Power Trip have futher clarified their objection to their music recently showing up on the Fox News program ‘The Five‘. Tweeting earlier today, they offered:
let’s get something straight: we wouldn’t be happy about being played on any major “news” network, but most especially Fox.

if you don’t like our stances, don’t support our band. it doesn’t make a single difference to us. we play on and you can’t stop us.

ultimately this band is about equality for anyone who’s been marginalized by the system – Fox News thrives on that schism. we don’t relate.

Original Story:
Power Trip‘s song “Executioner’s Tax (Swing Of The Axe)” was played on the Fox News show ‘The Five‘ today (December 06th) with the show’s Greg Gutfeld even namedropping the band. The music played as the show returned during some commercial cutaways and the band are not pleased about the matter, as seen in some of the below tweets.
